A municipal nature day camp (Adventures in Nature) run by the Pekin Park District at the Soldwedel Program Center in McNaughton Park, for children ages 9-13. Running late May through early August (6:30am-6:00pm), the electronics-free program explores the Illinois River Valley's flora and fauna through nature walks, storytelling, games, and crafts; breakfast, snacks, and most field trips are included.
