Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation runs the city's youth summer camps. Sunshine Camp is a full-day camp for kindergarten through fourth grade held at Nautilus and Oro Grande elementary schools, running Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm across a seven-week program with color wars, an Olympics, talent show, music and dance, pool parties and spirit days; the fee (about $305, with a sibling discount) includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Adventure Academy serves fifth through seventh graders, roughly ages 9-14, with archery, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing. The department also offers Fairway Friends, an introductory golf series for ages 3-8.
