Park of the Pines/Community of Christ
Private
Park of the Pines is a Community of Christ church campground in Boyne City that runs three overnight youth camps each summer: Junior Camp (grades 3-6), Junior High Camp (grades 7-9) and Senior High Camp (grades 10-12 and recent graduates). Camp centers on worship, learning, outdoor recreation, fellowship and leadership development in what the church describes as a peace-building community. The 24-acre wooded site fronts Lake Charlevoix, is alcohol- and tobacco-free, and its camping programs are licensed and inspected by Michigan's Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs; all staff pass a state criminal background check and child abuse registry clearance. The camp page states there was no charge directly to campers for the 2019 season; current pricing is not posted.

Powered by GoogleThis is a nice place for our family of 36, with room to spare. Two cabins, plus 7 dorms that sleep around 8 people each. There's a nice pavilion off the kitchen or a dining area inside. Nice bathrooms and showers by the dorms. We also enjoy the beach that goes the length of the camp. Made many good memories here. Not convient for wheelchairs but possible if you're OK with going "the extra mile".
Only my second time to there, but find it so relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful
Park of the Pines has always been and always will be my taste of heaven on earth! Best place for weddings, family retreats or even work events!! Nicest and cleanest place to relax and take in peace on earth!!!
Awesome camp ground with dining facility, large event hall, lodge with several bunk rooms, cabins, and other misc buildings, and to top it off... lake frontage on Lake Charlevoix. There is also a huge area for tents and travel trailers for camping but we didn't use it this time. The grounds are secluded and off in the woods but still only for miles from Boyne for groceries, shopping or whatever.
Great campground. This campground is owned and operated by Community of Christ, and is a great campground for reunions and gatherings. You will always get a warm welcome and always glad when guests arrive. I recommend you check them out. Great place to be.
