Katie and David are wonderful instructors who inspire confidence, kindness, and a deep love for dance. OBT is equitable and inclusive, welcoming dancers from all backgrounds and encouraging them to wear tights and shoes that match their skin tone so everyone feels seen and celebrated. The annual Nutcracker is pure magic and one of our favorite holiday traditions. The performances are beautiful, professional, and filled with heart. We couldn’t imagine her dancing anywhere else!

I was looking for a classical ballet school that would allow them to train as pre-professionals, should they choose to pursue dance as a career, but also to cultivate a love of the art form. We have been so pleased with the quality of the instruction, the care the teachers take with each individual student, and the friendships we have formed with other families. Katie and David are amazing Vaganova professionals who run the school with equal parts dedication and good humor. I love that the school produces full-length story ballets, so the students see a production through from start to finish and get to be a part of real shows alongside professional dancers. As a lifelong learner of dance, I have enjoyed their adult classes as well. I hope they remain a Northwest Arkansas institution for years to come!
