Omaha Academy of Ballet is a nonprofit ballet school (founded 1962) that runs the Nebraska Dance Camp each summer, a day program for dancers age 10 and up with at least two years of ballet training. Campers are grouped by ability and take three to four classes daily, with enrollment capped at 70. The academy also partners with the Omaha Community Playhouse on Arts Blocks camps combining acting, singing, and dance.
