Odyssey Community School, an independent PreK-12 school on six wooded acres in north Asheville, opens summer camp to the community. Programming includes Little Learners for rising kindergarten and 1st grade, Black Bears & Bobcats day camps for rising 2nd-3rd grades built around free play, outdoor adventures, group games and daily swim time in the campus pool, and specialty weeks such as fiber arts, documentary film, jewelry making, indie rock band and roleplaying game design. Camps run in one-week sessions at about $365 per five-day week.
