The site hosts camps for all ages, Christian events and seminars, and family gatherings, and is the annual home of the FWB Union Camp, a Free Will Baptist Bible camp. Groups book the property and run their own programs; the ministry states it keeps rates low.

★★★★Dave KingWe have been coming to the Oaks for over 10 years for our biannual King Camping . (For the most part) It is a beautiful setting at the foot of the Mts, the big front porch at the lodge and also the climate controlled gym and the swimming pool are great. They have a great Ministry here, but it is showing signs of wear and possibly a lack of enough cleaning Staff for this large of a facility. We did have an issue come up while we were there but they took care of the issue and adjusted the price so we will be kind and not give details here. Our family has made a lot of great memories here, God bless!

★★kloyeThis place is extremely fun. The pool. The gym and etc... but its nasty. Here’s why. In the gym, if you look around there is dirt EVERYWHERE. like they never sweep. Ive been here a couple times over the past 4 years... they have mice. Their are always animals in the rooms or gym in which they probably cant help but should try. The playground needs a little update. Sandbox needs new sand. I know... i sound needy. but its the truth. Pool is actually decent and taken care of, except for the slide.
