The Oakland Tennis Center is a City of Newberry Parks, Recreation & Tourism facility with nine lighted courts that runs a summer Youth & High School Tennis Camp, with scholarships available. The high school session meets Monday through Thursday, 9am to noon, for ages 14 to 18 and focuses on serve and return, footwork, shot placement and match preparation; a separate youth camp is also offered. Campers are grouped by age and level.

There’s six hard courts AND three clay courts— and you can rent a ball machine, sign up for lessons, or just come and hit with a friend.
