The Oak Hollow Sailing Club, founded in 1974 on Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, offers a one-week Learn to Sail youth camp for kids entering 6th through 12th grade. Sessions run mornings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with class sizes capped at 10; mornings begin with classroom instruction followed by hands-on sailing, and later days move to Oak Hollow Marina to sail Sunfish boats provided by the City of High Point.

They offer two sailing camps during the summer and several community events where they take anyone who signs up out on a 30 minute boat ride. The club has several Sunfish, a couple of family boats, and one Hobie 16 that members can use, so you don't need a boat to join or sail. They have races during the summertime and usually once a month during the warm season they have other sailing events that are just for members.
