Northwoods Park Community Center on Greenridge Road is one of five City of North Charleston sites hosting the city's summer camp program for children ages 5-12. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a flat seasonal registration fee (about $350) and pre-registration required; spaces are first-come, first-served and the program is open to North Charleston residents only. The center itself has a gymnasium, seasonal outdoor pool, ball fields, batting cages and a playground, and also runs after-school and athletic programs.

Quiet park with a 9 hole frisbee golf course in the woods and a 6/10 playground!
This was a great discovery for our family. The pool is pretty large and clean. There is also a playground and picnic areas under plenty of shade. The pool has a cash-only entry fee, and you may want to bring your own chairs if you want to get some sun.
This center is amazing. My kids attend summer camp here. There is a pool on site ($3) per person, used to be $1. Taekwondo is offered on Tuesdays. Mr Wolfe does a great job. There is a park and a pond. I used to catch bass in the pond but I haven't fished there in a long time.
Great Pool! It was actually better than the indoor pool we go to, and that's saying a lot because through indoor pool is nice. However, this place is off the beaten path. It's in a quaint cut in a North Charleston community on some quiet acreage with a lake behind it. The area surrounding it is nice as well. I can see that being a great hideaway for me. I'll definitely be back, alone and withy children.
