Northern Pines is a United Methodist camp and retreat center on 40 wooded acres on the east shore of Fish Hook Lake near Park Rapids, part of the Minnesota Annual Conference's Camp Minnesota system. It offers kids' camp, sleepaway camp, youth camp, adult retreats, outdoor adventures and cabin rentals. Summer capacity is 200 and year-round capacity is 83; the site has been winterized since 1970. Its first camp was held in 1922 on grounds previously used as a tuberculosis clinic.

And then we found out that one of the college girls, Reagan, told our daughter it was ok to sleep in the same bed as your boyfriend “as long as you don’t do anything.” We are now deeply concerned about what other non Christian things she might have learned here and will find another camp, if anything. We will be much more discerning in the future.
