The Northeast Michigan Arts Council runs a week-long Fine Arts Day Camp for young artists ages 8 to 13 at the Northeast Art Center in Standish, held July 20-24. Campers take daily classes in drawing, painting, mixed media, clay, sculpture, acting, music and performing arts led by local instructors.
