North Star Camp is a Christian summer youth camp in Brainerd on 150 acres of forest with more than two miles of waterfront between Rice Lake and the Mississippi River, operating for over 60 years. Campers ride horses, water ski, wakeboard and shoot archery. Programs are split by age, with Cub Camp for younger first-time campers and Teen Camp for ages 14-16, and the camp also runs Camp Abilities, a barrier-free program for adults with disabilities. Faith formation is part of the camp experience.

★★★★★Emily HinerI love North Star! I come here every year for summer camp. I am coming up on my fourth year. The lake is the first place I ever knee boarded, water skied, and gone tubing. It also is the place I gained my liking for rock climbing and archery. My second year was the year that I decided I wanted to be baptized. Sometime this year I am being baptized there. When you team up with the SDA church you get a discount, so I think that if you want a good camp, this is a good one.
