Affordable, useful & Most service are good. A family-friendly center with clean facility usually; my only issue is there's no dress code especially in the swimming pool. Usually there's a place to pray if needed ( and that's important) thanks.

Nothing but positive words for this gym. They have great, up to date equipment and a wide variety of it for whatever your age, condition, and fitness level may be. They're are extremely accommodating no matter what your goals may be. The have personal training, group fitness classes and retreats, if that is your thing. They have a track that circles the entire facility, which is great for walking or jogging. If you are a parent, they have a daycare center for kids during certain hours. Really friendly people at the front desk. Great gym, basketball court, and pool with a sauna and hot tub. Great place to get a good workout in and relax afterward. If I could make one recommendation, it would be for a larger free weight room and selection. The hip thrust machine is a bit awkward. I recommend a replacement of another type. Also more benches would be great.

Very disappointing experience at the North Royalton Family YMCA. I recently moved here from another state and came with my 1-year-old son to try the gym using the advertised $10 day pass. I was denied entry because I had my child with me and was told that no one under 18 is allowed with a day pass. The staff member (a blonde lady at the front desk) told me I could just buy the day pass for myself and “leave the baby with someone else.” That is not a realistic or considerate suggestion for a mother of a 1-year-old. Even more confusing, I was told that my 1-year-old cannot enter with me on a $10 day pass, but I can pay a $30 monthly fee for him instead — plus $57 for my own membership. So a one-day visit is not allowed, yet a monthly charge for a baby who cannot even use the gym is acceptable? That makes no sense and feels completely inconsistent. The policy was not clearly explained, and the whole situation came across as unreasonable. I was hoping to find a welcoming, family-oriented place in my new community. Unfortunately, this experience felt dismissive and unaccommodating. Clear communication and consistent policies would make a big difference.

We love being members of the Y, specifically the North Royalton branch! Staff is friendly and available. Facilities are clean. Equipment is in excellent condition. Child watch attendants are lovely and my kids look forward to going. We are looking forward to starting some programming this year as out first 6 months have just been focused on routine.
