★★★★Estella HansberryLove this little park. Great for younger kids. I have a 2 year old grandson that loves it. Only draw back is there are no shelters. There are picnic tables at the park and across the street. If the community center is closed and it starts to rain you are stuck.

Classes my family have attended include dance, cheerleading, ballet, themed monthly art classes, piano, tennis etc. Check Kirkland website for class info. Outdoor area includes a basketball court, picnic tables, seasonal restrooms and community playground with slides, swings, sandpit and fun activities. The restrooms are seasonal. Good parking on-site at Community center (not at the playground which is across the street), with Metro bus stop within 2 min walking distance.
