Cheley could not have been any more incredible and amazing than it actually was!! My son is going into 7th grade and had the time of his life experiencing the outdoors in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado. The activities they offer are amazing including backpacking, hiking, whitewater rafting, fishing, technical climbing, woodworking, mountain biking, one wheels, coordinated events like Rodeos and Carnivals. He loved the food, the friends he made and the counselors. We could not have asked for a better experience and he came back so much more confident, independent and overall cheerful. I highly recommend and it is worth the investment for your child and the lifelong experiences, memories and relationships they will form!! 🏞️💚🏔️🧗🚵

I went to Cheley camps for 9 years leading up to covid. My brother has gone since then, and has had a blast. Let me just say, this is likely one of, if not THE best camp experiences in the entire world. It is not possible to get into how great this place is in one simple review, but I will attempt to be succinct. This camp is over 100 years old, translating into rich a beautiful, rich culture. Their accumulated experience has led to amazingly professional communication between the camp's admin and parents, and they know EXACTLY how to handle pretty much every situation. The staff are excellent and incredibly diverse with a worldwide roster, and the admin is amazing. They really change their campers, 100% for the better. Campers learn so many life lessons and develop so many life skills, that sending your kid here really is an investment that will pay off 10x. The leadership and life skills and experiences that I developed here directly led to my success in college and my burgeoning professional career. I was changed from a shy, insecure boy into an emotionally intelligent, confident leader. This is a change that everyone can experience. I WILL be sending my children here, so Jeff, y'all better be around in ~20 years! Thank you so much for the lifechanging experience!

One of the richest, most rewarding, experiences in our son's life. A truly exceptional experience where character is built in the context of community. Where joy is experienced and not simulated on a screen. Spending time at Cheley is a life-changing experience for kids in the very best sense.

My 13-year-old (entering eighth grade) daughter just returned from a month at Cheley Colorado Camp, and she had an amazing experience! She actually didn't want to go (she would rather sit in her room on her iPad), so we made her go. She begged us not to go but we thought it would be good for her. She arrived not knowing any other campers, and on the first day she wrote a letter to us complaining that she had to make her bed and she and the other girls had to keep their cabin clean/straightened, because they were graded as a group, and the cabin had to pass 'inspection'. Also during the first week, she and the other campers also had to come up with self-imposed rules, which emphasized character, accountability and teamwork. She was at a different out-of-state camp 2 years ago, and it was a nice experience but Cheley is on a 'totally next level' of a camp that builds character and really molds these kids with good values. Historically, she has kind of been an "Indoor girl", but at Cheley she voluntarily signed up for extra hikes and outdoor adventures. She really connected with other campers along with the amazing college kids who served as her camp counselors and mentors. When we went to pick her up at the end of camp, she gave out more hugs than I've ever seen her give, and she cried and she didn't want to leave Cheley! I cried too, watching it all! She said to my wife and I, "I didn't realize I could connect with people like this and feel so close to people in such a short amount of time." Taking away all of their devices (iPhones, iPads, etc.) at camp really helps them connect communicate, and she would admit that. Now , she is begging to go back next year! I can't say enough good things about Cheley, and the amazing things they are doing up there!! Thank you Cheley Camp!

Ok this camp is just amazing at the least. 2024 will be my 4 summer at Cheley and I love it so much. I had to leave early last year. But the staff, counselors , and camp directors were the best and so supportive. The activities are the BEST and I mean the BEST. Also the camp is the prettiest thing I have ever seen in my life. The kids are so nice and if is someone who isn’t the counselors are there to help and I promise you that. Finally the food omggg the food I am obsessed with the food. you get breakfast, lunch, And dinner then snacks like who doesn’t like that. All im saying is Cheley is the best thing ever. I ❤️ Cheley
