Pickleball has ruined basketball gyms across America. Nixa XCenter has allowed this happen. Can pickle ball get their own court and not use the basketball gym in Nixa? Slowly the pickleball community has slithered around the neck of gyms across this once great land and constricted the once great community builder called “Pick Up Basketball” The entitlement of the pickle ball player is also a problem. Pickleball is 6 am - 1045 am weekdays is wild. Why not 7-1045? Allowing people to actually play 5am basketball in the Nixa gym? Yall really need 4+ hours of pickleball? The pickleball lady showed up early to set up the nets and went the front desk to kick us off earlier than their schedule said. Make Basketball Courts For Basketball Again M.B.C.F.B.A
Lots of parking and great facilities. The only negative was that the metal bleachers that you sit on to watch games are really hard if you have back problems
Horrible treatment towards children attending their summer camp program at the pool. Not all kids had sunscreen or assistance to apply it. Those children who had problems were treated as if they were in trouble. Furthermore, their teenage "counselor/supervisor" decided to chime in and smart off when a discussion about the misfortune of some of the children was overheard. My child will never be attending this program and I welcome some teenager to smart off to me about my observations and decisions.
Staff cares about the perception of customers - they are attentive, friendly- but will absolutely keep nonsense to a minimum - so you can enjoy a nice atmosphere while exercising. There are a lot of local youth here at any given time - but they are mostly respectful, and nice. The equipment is great - staff keeps things clean. The facilities are nice and spacious, and events here seem well run/organized. My entire family is quite happy to have our membership here.
