We decided to check this place out because my son was really excited about it. We usually go to the location in Goldsboro, but figured we’d give this one a try its closer larger and had good ratings.Unfortunately, both times we visited throughout the week, the experience felt welcoming but also unwelcoming at the same time, if that makes sense. From the moment we walked in, the main thing we kept hearing was “you have to be a member.” I probably heard that 10 times during our first visit while trying to ask about batting cages, lessons for my son, membership pricing, and just generally learning what the facility offered. We came back a second time hoping maybe it was just an off day, but it felt exactly the same. Again, we kept hearing about memberships contract over and over instead of feeling welcomed as first-time visitors trying to check the place out. I completely understand there are member-only areas and perks, but when you’re trying to attract new families, the constant pressure about memberships right away can make people feel uncomfortable instead of encouraged to join. There are ways to explain the policies while still making people feel genuinely welcome. Another thing that surprised me was how hot it was inside. For such a nice, large facility, I honestly expected it to be much more comfortable temperature wise, especially during practices. We’ll probably continue making the drive to the Goldsboro location because the experience there has always felt much simpler and more welcoming for our family. The response..... I left a genuine review based on our actual experience, not an emotional reaction. I fully understood your facility is membership-based that was explained repeatedly during both visits. My point was simply that, as a family considering joining, the experience did not feel very welcoming or engaging. There was no owner or manager available during our visits, and the staff we interacted with did little to answer questions or make us feel comfortable as potential new members person at the desk was maybe 18 That feedback is fair and honest. Reviews are meant to reflect customer experiences, both positive and negative. I wish your business continued success, but our experience simply did not match the atmosphere your response describes.

My family is newish to the area and I have been giving lessons at NL since the summer. I've coached baseball at facilities literally all over the country and this is one of the best! The community that Miss Gaynel and Mr Trent have built at Next Level is amazing. The facility, the programming offered, the coaching and most importantly the attitudes are top notch. Professional level mentality and operation. People in there trying to get better every day and an affordable membership so everyone can be part of the next level family.
