Powered by GoogleMy daughter attended during the summer and hated every second of it. She was in the preschool child care. She would throw tantrums, yell, scream, kick you name it. She attended for about 3 months or so. She hated going and said the teachers were mean and looked at her mean. Mind you this was not her first school. I switched her daycares and she was a changed kid. Never seen any of those behaviors and she loves going to school now. She was too young to tell me what fully happened at this school but this serves as a reminder parents to listen to your kids. If something doesn’t look right, sound right or seem right do something. I have my suspicions about this place after my experience here. Never again no matter how desperate I am for child care.
This place is 100% amazing! My daughter learns something everyday! The staff is amazing and so friendly! From the moment you walk in the door until the moment you walk out. You are being greeted! The owners, the director, they come out and speak! You are apart of the family! I cant express the feeling i get when dropping my daughter! It lets me know i picked the right school for her! We are so thankful for the NMELA and sll the great staff🩷
Staff greets you every morning, the campus seems safe, a meal plan is provided but I’m not confident it’s followed through. I’ve had issues with low staff to children ratio, they seemed to have corrected that so that they live up to their 5 star ratio. They have radios on them at all times which is good in the event of an emergency. My kids have been picked up overheated at least once, either because sweaters were left on all day or the heat was too high. I have observed my 2 yo’s class being told to sit still with hands in their lap over and over again while they take their time picking up after naptime. It seemed like nearly 20 mins of this and they were finally given snacks. My son should enjoy it here but he doesn’t. I see some engagement and have heard the same from others… it could be better. Maybe I just had higher expectations from a 5 star focused program. I don’t have too many options in this area and NMELA seemed to be the right fit at first. Now I feel stuck because of the free childcare, other facilities will fill up fast or neglect their duties. I can only hope for better. They do have some events that are great for the family.
This daycare is amazing! The staff is so caring and attentive, and my child has learned so much since starting. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their little one.
I absolutely love this place, they have done so much to help my son better communicate, be kind and he has learned so much. They have been supportive with my family and have great events for the family and children. I love that my child has a bond with the teachers almost as close as family! He went from a shut down child to blooming under their careful care. I have even brought my daughter here for her summer care as I have full trust and faith in this center’s ability to care for my family!
