My daughter has just started and is absolutely loving it! I love how her teachers adore her and how they actually do their job and put all the info into the app regarding her day at daycare as well as send a bunch of pictures so I can see all of the activities she is doing and know that she is okay. The center is also very clean and organized and all of the staff seem to really enjoy working for this company and care a lot about the wellbeing of the kids! My daughter attended Yellow Brick Road in Grimes for 7 days and cried every single day non stop and wasnt treated the best. YBR never updated me through the app and if I made certain requests, the director/teachers would argue with me about it as a parent and dismiss things. They also tried to judge my parenting and suggest that something was wrong with my child, because she refused to walk for her teachers there at 18mo. She is now walking everywhere at home and her teachers here at New Horizon do not make me feel like a bad parent nor insult me or my child when she crawls in her room as an 18mo nor constantly ask "do you hold her all time" as an assumption like YBR did. This center also has cameras which I love so if any issues did arise I can always check them! I also love the food portions that they give the children to make sure they're eating enough rather than feeding them extremely small amounts as her other daycare did, because she would always be starving at the end of the day. It's such a huge comfort to know that she is well taken care of and as a first time mom I am very appreciative of that! I also love that I feel respected as a parent and that any concerns I do have are promptly met/handled.

We are so grateful for the incredible care and nurturing environment provided at New Horizon Johnston. Over the past two years, we have watched our daughter blossom socially and emotionally, and she is always excited to to spend time with her friends and teachers each morning. It is also a wonderful surprise seeing all that she knows when she comes home! Our 2-year-old has never been at another center, and we wouldn't have it any other way! It gives us immense peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and caring hands.

My daughter started this center in July coming from an in home daycare and let me just say- It’s the best decision I could have made! I love that I get updates throughout the day with pictures letting me know what she’s doing, what she ate and everything she’s learning in her class! She loves her teachers and has made lots of new friends! Everyone is so friendly and that makes me feel comfortable bringing her here!
