Powered by GoogleI stayed here for a work retreat (on the off-season of their bible camp) with a group of about 35 people. The area was beautiful, the accommodations were wonderful! The staff was so friendly and helpful! We had them cook for us for our meals and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Everything was homemade and absolutely wonderful. After we left they had a group of ice fisherman come in so whether you're a larger group or a small group it's worth checking them out!!
My boy is shy. Being around kids helped his confidence. He went to camp before and was dealing with bullies DURING camp. I was devastated, but he never had that problem here.
This is an amazing camp that offers programming for kids of all ages. They also offer special camping weeks for children with diabetes as well as those with mental disabilities. An amazing organization I'm proud to support.
I was here for a school cross country retreat, so I didn't have any of the Bible camp part. The food is the reason this camp isn't five stars, all the meals seemed a little over or under baked. The fruit was not even close to being ripe, and the meals were just blah. The cabins, lake, and general area are very beautiful and fun though.
It was and is a great place to be, emotionally, mentally and physically. I is has a fresh air and cool atmosphere embedded within nature by the lake. Its people are also some of the best and most cordial you'll meet. Its an especially great place for families specifically children.
