Navajo Trails Adventure Camp is an overnight adventure camp near Bicknell, Utah, in the 'Golden Circle' between Capitol Reef National Park and the Dixie and Fishlake National Forests, for boys and girls ages 7-16. Campers build a custom weekly schedule from activities such as horseback riding, kayaking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, rock climbing, and arts and crafts. ★★★Melissa WarnerThis is a very tough review. I stayed here with a youth group. We loved our time there. Beautiful location with so much shade and so peaceful. However we did have to evacuate a cabin because of rat problem. We totally made due and still enjoyed our time there but I just think more attention to cleaning a little before guests would go a long way.
★★★★★ChelseaI think about Navajo Trails frequently, my parents found the camp advertisement in the back of a Sunset Magazine in 1991 when I was 11 years old. At the time we lived in Hawaii and God bless my mom, she sent my younger sister and I, site unseen, from Honolulu to Utah to attend this camp for three weeks. I still remember boarding the plane with my big black trunk full of my provisions and flying to Salt Lake City to meet a bunch of strangers I was going to live with for the next month! I chose horseback riding one week, backpacking another and rafting another. The weekends were full of capture the flag, trying not to step on a copperhead snake, late night camp fire songs, and doing laundry, sometimes by hand! What memories 30 years later! Thank you Navajo Trails and thanks mom and dad for being so willing and brave all those years back!
