NatureBridge Olympic runs overnight environmental science programs on a campus at Lake Crescent inside Olympic National Park, about 30 minutes west of Port Angeles. Its core offering is multi-day residential environmental science for visiting school and youth groups, in which students explore old-growth forest, the Elwha River, and Lake Crescent while doing hands-on field science. For families it runs Olympic Family Camp, a 5-day, 4-night session running Monday to Friday in summer with content geared to children ages 6-15 though all ages are welcome; each family is assigned its own historic cabin or bunk room, all with heat and electricity, and an optional Sunday evening arrival is available for an added cost.

I just had my wedding here and it was magical! The staff was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the views were unbelievable. We had everything we needed for the wedding of our dreams AND it goes to a great cause. Thank you, NatureBridge!

As a wedding photographer, I've been working at NatureBridge since 2011 with couples who want to showcase the spectacular scenery of the Olympic Peninsula and are looking for a more all-inclusive wedding day experience. Weddings at NatureBridge are unparalleled -- the venue allows you to stay Friday through Sunday, with accomodations on-site for many of your friends, family, and guests. This allows your wedding guests more time to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Crescent and Olympic National Park! The scenery is beyond spectacular, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. After 15 years of photographing weddings here, I can confidently say it's always an amazing experience for my clients and their guests.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! We had the best time with kids age 6 and 7. The lake was serene and the canoeing relaxed everybody. They host kids here on a regular basis and would be a great place for summer camp if the opportunity ever presented itself for your children.

Attended a wedding here, and it was simply a marvelous place to spend a weekend celebrating the couple and their friends and family. The cabins were very basic, but good enough for a couple nights rest. The food prepped in the main cabin was great, especially the breakfast. By far my favorite part was the fireplace/hearth shelter down by the water, it was so much fun to sit and enjoy the water while being protected and being inside and outside at the same time. Fully recommend this place!

My husband and I hosted our wedding here, and it was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding venue. We prioritized a venue that allowed a 24-hr reservation so that we weren't limited to ending the party at 10pm or stressing about clean-up the night of our wedding. We also wanted somewhere with lodging in-house or at least adjacent so that we didn't have to worry about transportation. NatureBridge solved that problem with catering and lodging on-site and a full weekend booking. And the location is absolutely BEAUTIFUL to boot. It was so incredibly special to be able to spend an entire weekend surrounded by our friends and family in one of our favorite places in the world. Our guests were kept busy and entertained the morning of the wedding with hiking and canoeing excursions while the bridal party got ready and set up. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cabins were rustic and fun. The lakeside setting for our ceremony was perfection. The food was INCREDIBLE! And knowing that we were supporting educational programs for kids was also very important to my husband and me as well. This definitely isn't the venue for everyone. It's not an all-inclusive venue, and it's certainly not a luxury 5-star resort. However, if you're looking for a unique and adventurous wedding experience and you and your guests are willing to "rough it" juuust a little bit, I would absolutely recommend booking NatureBridge! It's an incredible value (lodging, ceremony site, reception site, and food for the ENTIRE weekend!!!) and just the most beautiful location. (Photos by Kim Butler Photography)
