Powered by GoogleNYT has been such a great experience for my daughter and I. We have both made many new friendships, and she has become much more confident. We have also had lots of opportunities to celebrate joy and to grow through disappointments. Even though she has never gotten a lead role, she has grown in so many ways, and everyone we have met has been SO encouraging. I have always appreciated that the directors do their best to get kids on stage as much as possible, even if they’re in ensemble or chorus. I highly recommend this Christian ministry and their high-quality productions!
Truly an amazing theater group for families. Not only does NYT put on amazing productions, they encourage growth and develop the talents of youth. My child has grown exponentially in his abilities and developed his talents for acting, singing, dancing, but most of all at being a team player. National Youth Theater is a community that is Christ-centered and a positive influence for those that participate in shows and for those who come to watch the shows. Dedication, hard work, getting outside your comfort zone, being humble, and eager to learn are essential to excelling with this top quality program.
We love our NYT family! We’ve had so much fun and made so many friends in just one year. Everything done in Jesus name!
Our family has been tremendously blessed by NYT! From the incredible productions to the directors that inspire and guide our kids to the friendships we have cultivated along the way, we have found community within the National Youth Theater family. I am so thankful that my son chose to audition in the summer of 2021. Though his first roles were small, his love of theater grew and he gained confidence in his ability to sing, to dance, and to develop a character with each and every performance. Thank you, NYT, for encouraging our kids and providing a positive outlet for their creative expression!
There is so much to say about NYT that it would take a lot more space than I have here, so I will say that we have been a part of NYT since 2017 and the growth in my daughter's gifts and talent has been incredible and I honestly can say that NYT has been an answer to prayer on so many levels. The friendships both my daughter and I have here, are priceless and we are truly grateful for them. NYT has great directors, teachers and staff that truly love these kids and want to see them succeed in performing, but most of all in their relationship with Jesus. We are honored to be a part of NYT Studio and Theater Company.
