The National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock runs two summer youth programs taught by professional educators and center staff. Summer Youth Classes meet 8:30am-12:30pm across a June week, with pioneer living and water wranglers for children who have completed 1st or 2nd grade and Western movie making and ranch life and wildlife for those who have completed 3rd through 5th grade. Kids Ranch Camp is a full-day program, 8:00am-4:30pm over three days at the end of July. Registration was listed at $75 for Ranching Heritage Association members and $100 for non-members.
