The Nashville Youth Basketball Association runs a summer basketball camp at its downtown Nashville academy, Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. from June into July. Campers train with experienced coaches on skills and play in a day league for game experience, and breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided daily. The program serves players roughly grades 2-10.

This is an amazing program. What we loved most is that they welcome kids of all skill levels. My son was years behind the curve compared to his peers in basketball, but the program truly embraced him, trained him up, and helped him go on to have an amazing high school career. This was not an overnight process. We had to trust the NYBA process for several years, and seeing the results on the back end validated that they have a proven system for developing players and teaching them how to truly play the game of basketball.
Amazing program with very detailed coaching and training for all levels of youth basketball. No matter what your child’s current skill set or level of competition NYBA is guaranteed to improve it! Year in and year out they have produced some of the best basketball players in the country for every age group! Definitely a program I will always recommend!

As a parent of a beginner basketball player, I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience we’ve had with NYBA. From day one, they were very clear that this is a developmental program focused on building skills, confidence, and a true understanding of the game—not just wins and stats. That level of honesty and transparency meant a lot, especially as we were new to competitive basketball. They emphasized "trusting the process," and although that can be tough when you're eager to see quick results, I'm so glad we stayed the course. The coaches were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about each player's growth, both on and off the court. The improvement in our child has been remarkable—not just in basketball ability, but in work ethic, teamwork, and self-confidence. If you're looking for a place where your child can really develop and grow, NYBA is the program. It may not be the flashiest, but the results speak for themselves. The process worked—and now we have a player who loves the game and is thriving.
