The Mustang Ambassador Program is a nonprofit youth equine program on a 300-acre ranch near Calhan/Ramah that runs summer youth riding and leadership camps, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Working with trained mustangs, campers learn horse care, natural horsemanship, and riding while building leadership skills such as responsibility, communication, and resilience. The program also offers horsemanship clinics and animal-therapy sessions.
