One of the most beautiful mountains in the area. Great for hiking and skiing. Good with dogs on the leash.

Unlike most Ski areas. You buy tickets when you get here. Don't worry they never run out. Keep in mind there are 2 parking and lodge areas. One has a nice beginner area and lift. We went on a very rare night skiing event. And also again on a spring warmer day. I believe parking is always free and close to the lodge. The gift shop has reasonably priced hats and stuff. They have a very good repair and rental shop.

This will be a review about the beginner ski package. It was totally worth it, $129.45 for the day pass, an instructor, and ski rentals (includes boots, skis, helmet, poles). Getting the rentals was fast and everyone who worked there that we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. We went on an off peak day end of March and so we ended up having an instructor who helped just us, which is definitely not always the case depending on how busy they are. Our instructor Danny was great! He helped my husband, who has never skied before, get from the bunny slope onto the chairlift and we did a few runs. He was positive, encouraging, and got us skiing!!!There’s a nice fenced off bunny slope for you to practice before going on the run. I think this is a great place to learn to ski. Also, it’s so stunningly beautiful that it makes the whole experience so much better. Getting food after at the lodge is so necessary, and they have vegan/vegetarian options (including a veggie burger and a Thai noodle salad). I would 10/10 recommend.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is no sink to wash hands on top floor where there is a restaraunt so people need to walk to the bottom flooor to wash their hands. I ran into a instructor in the parking lot and told him i dont ski or s/b but he ran me through the process of getting started with lessons and gave me some tips.

Lodges are beautiful and the area is beautiful, but this resort hasn't updated their lifts (or any of the customer experience) in decades, these are literally the same lifts as when I was a teenager 30 years ago, and still using paper tickets that you have to struggle to stick to your zipper instead of the nice RFID cards like all the other mountains use now. No magic carpets, no slowing down chairs to get on or off, no windshields to pull down over the longer lifts on cold, windy days... This is a No-Frills experience. Still, if you are in the Seattle area, it's definitely worth coming here because you can't beat the powder on Baker!
