Nonprofit youth tennis clinic in Springfield, run on the Forest Park tennis courts on Sumner Ave, that pairs tennis instruction with an education and mentoring mission for youth ages 6-18. The 2026 clinic runs Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-11:00am, in two roughly two-week sessions (June 29-July 9 and July 13-July 23), with each child registering individually for one session and spots limited. It began in 2017 as a USTA/Springfield partnership offering morning clinics to city youth who had mostly never picked up a racquet, and is a volunteer-supported 501(c)(3) funded by donations.
