Mountain Sprouts Children's Community is a nonprofit nature-immersion program in Leavenworth that runs four-day summer camps for ages 3-8. Weeks are spent outdoors, mostly at Enchantment Park and its trails, on themes such as bug and bird investigating, garden immersion at an organic farm, riverside ecology at the beach, nature-inspired art, and Leave No Trace stewardship. Discovery camp for ages 5-8 runs Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; preschool camp for ages 3-5 runs 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with pickup after lunch. Campers bring their own lunch and snacks and come dressed to adventure outside all day; camps are $250/week (Discovery) and $150/week (preschool), with tuition-assistance scholarships reviewed on a rolling basis.
