On the first day, our kids were nervous and didn’t want to go to the kids program, but the leaders took the time to help them feel comfortable. By the next day, I was wondering if the staff were getting tired of all the hugs our daughter was giving them! It was also amazing to witness first hand so many young kids learning about Jesus and having fun while doing it. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the kids program. The adult sessions were equally excellent, with inspiring speakers and teachers who help you deepen your relationship with God and connect with great people. There’s so much to do, but no pressure to do it all. The food, service, and even the entertainment are top-notch. It truly feels like a cruise on land.

The lodge and dining area offer lots of places to sit and visit, and there is a huge fireplace to add atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent, well-prepared meals, thanks to Suzie! There is a great hiking trail along the lakeshore, and during warmer weather there would be lots of options for fun activities. Mount Carmel is awesome!
