Moscow Contemporary is a Moscow, Idaho arts-and-education nonprofit whose Summer Art Program offers youth camps such as The Art of Light & Motion (ages 7-12), Nature Drawing and Painting (ages 8-12), hand-building clay, and movement-based making. All materials are included, and free camp spots are available to students from several surrounding rural school districts through county arts funding.

When I contacted Moscow Contemporary about a visit, they not only welcomed us: they opened the gallery especially for us (on a Sunday), kept 15 kids engaged with modern art for an hour, and then let them all make their own original works! It was crazy fun, very educational (for the adults too), and I'm just so grateful to have such a great resource right here in Moscow. Thank you so, so much Moscow Contemporary! You are awesome!
