The Mooresville Spinners, a summer collegiate baseball team, run a youth baseball camp at Moor Park in downtown Mooresville. The half-day camp runs one week each June (roughly 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily) for boys and girls ages 8-13, covering fundamental baseball skills. Campers receive a Spinners camp T-shirt and a free ticket to a home game.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Moor Field Baseball Park directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleFun local experience. Nice bleachers. There are backs on benches. Concession stand and picnic tables as well as food trucks available. Fun for all.
Played a travel baseball tournament here Nov 2023. This is an old, old downtown park that is WAY past its prime and not well taken care of. Huge section of the outfield wall is knocked down. 6 months worth of bird poop on bleachers. 3 foot tall weeds growing around dugout. Trash and broken things everywhere. Neither scoreboard operational. The cherry on top for me was the ragged sofa sitting directly behind homeplate that looked like it came straight from someone's basement.
The staff is horribly rude and unprofessional. Here for my son’s tournament and part of the team staff, I carry a cooler for any of the team needs. I was asked to remove it, the staffer carried it out, threw it in the dirt parking lot and then locked the gate behind him so I couldn’t get back in. Not sure why this policy is in place but the whole situation was disgusting and whoever runs/owns this field should really look customer service training and family friendly policies.
Good environment and a great summer experience. Beware of the bleachers though, I ripped my knee wide open on the rusty bolts sticking out of the seat backs.
Great home town experience and some normalcy in our lives
