Moon Township West KinderCare is a local center of the national KinderCare childcare chain (100 Grant Dr), open 6:30 a.m.-6:15 p.m. weekdays. This center serves children six weeks to five years, so its summer offering is early-childhood care with seasonal themes rather than the chain's school-age Champ Camp.

My son has been attending school at this center since last May. He has made such a vast improvement in his development since he started with KinderCare. His teachers have all been amazing and each take a special interest in my son as well as the other children in their class. My son has delays with his speech and is need of some extra attention for his behavior. The director, Alana, and staff offer advice on how to help and outside services that can provide the individual attention that he needs. They will work with families to ensure each child has what they need to succeed and grow. They have lesson plans that keep children engaged and have fun while learning. Outside groups come in like a puppet show and visitors from the aviary, to offer something new and exciting, yet still be a teachable moment. They truly have each child’s best interest at heart!

Don’t ignore the negative reviews. Take time to notice the reviews from recent are not good. I first toured this place a year ago & it was different than that it is now. My daughter had her first day at THIS facility March 19th. The day prior they had 4 call offs within this small facility & asked parents to volunteer, which made me feel uneasy. You might have your child’s teacher watching them or you may have a stranger you never met caring for your child. She became sick from her first day and this is not her first time in an environment like this or around other kids. When I went to pick her up, the room smelled terrible. There are windows in the hallway outside each classroom & as I’m walking down the hall way, I see this child getting toileted in the middle of the classroom in plain sight & all the other kids running around. For dignity, they place a large outdoor garbage can next to your child on the potty & dispose of the diapers in that same garbage can. Disgusting. I also witnessed that they do not wipe down the surfaces after changing your child from one to another… no wonder she got sick that fast. I had to bathe her as soon as we got home because of the facilities foul odor in her hair & on her clothes. Tuition for 2 days/week is $122/day. Even if your child doesn’t attend you still have to pay. There is a review from 5 months ago that mentions if they have to shut down the facility due to their lack of ability to keep a staffed facility they will discount your child’s tuition a whopping $10 for the day due to the inconvenience. The lack of accountability is high. I didn’t want to send my daughter today because she is sick due to being at their facility for ONE day & I still have to pay for 2 weeks even though I unenrolled her. If you want comparable care for your child just drop your child off at a local Chuck E. Cheese… it may even be cleaner and at least there will be privacy when they have to use the bathroom.

I cannot say enough great things about KinderCare West. Lori and Tina were amazing to work with. Knowing I was in dire need of a new daycare, they made the impossible happen and got my son enrolled as soon as they could. They were very professional and so kind to my son. Every teacher in the infant room made us feel so welcomed, as well. They are absolutely incredible with kids. We definitely felt a sense of family, with how almost every staff member knew my sons name and how they interacted with him. THANK YOU!

Our daughter has been attending Moon Twp West KinderCare since August of last year. We were worried about putting her in daycare during COVID, but Moon Twp West KinderCare has done a wonderful job with keeping us informed and making sure the kids are in a safe and clean environment. Our daughter loves going and her teachers take such great care of her! We love that breakfast, lunch and snack is provided and we love getting pictures and updates throughout the day on the app. Would definitely recommend!

My 2 year old son has been attending the Moon West Kinder Care since he was 6 weeks old and my 2 month old Son will be starting in the infant room in a week. I absolutely love this center and all the teachers know and love my Son. They now have an app they use to communicate with families throughout the day, we especially enjoy the pictures they send showing the children actively participating in daily activities. They also provide well rounded breakfast and lunch meals for the children, which is incredibly helpful as a busy working family. Our family has developed lasting relationships with many of the staff and would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for high quality childcare in this area.
