DO NOT go here for the POOL. Water is FREEZING COLD. BAD BAD BAD. All my kids are young 1 and 3 and 5. Baby was shivering. 3 and 5 year old said it was too cold and I thought so too. The slide was the only thing we liked because couldn't enjoy the pool with the water.

Family Locker rooms still need major work. I saw there was an email about updates made but didn't say what they did so not sure what improvements are out there. The showers need to be able to regulate the temperature and get rid of the push button. There also needs to be a barrier between the shower and the bench/area where you can get changed. After the shower runs the floor is a pool and the hallway outside is wet from people walking back and fourth from coming out of the pool so its hard to change especially with younger kids. I think if there was a focus on how they can make the locker less wet that would be a win

What a delightful facility. Visited here for a post funeral family gathering in one of the meeting rooms. It was well equipped for our needs and the three staff I connected with were all friendly and helpful.

It's so frustrating that the hot tub is closed for an additional week with absolutely zero info on this on their website. If you want to use the hot tub, make sure you call to ask if the tub is open. Or else you'll be driving for nothing. Very disappointing that it's unavailable for 4 days, then to require another WEEK for it to be fixed. It wouldn't be so annoying if there was good communication. But this community center tends to be poor on communication

It's a nice place to go if you are an adult during the daytime. If you have children ages 7-15 it becomes challenging. Why does a person need to be 16 to sit in a hot tub with their dad? Are they driving the hot tub? I think the parent could be responsible for noticing if their child is overheating or getting too cold. Why cant a kid walk on a treadmill or ride a bike with their dad? They can do it at the ymca. How is it any different? Four young boys were in a basketball gym (pictured) a custodian kicks them out because the national guard is supposedly in there. Its a Saturday at 3pm. I spoke with one of the national guards and asked if we could shoot some hoops. He said yeah that shouldn't be an issue because they're going to be over at the jail doing some work. It was literally empty for 3 hours looking like this but yet kids can't play basketball? They dont care if the kids cant play ball. I wont be renewing our family membership. It's too bad too because the facility is really nice and the pool and gym and workout area are very nice. Being a parent that's trying to keep my children off of screens and doing things active in the community, this makes it very hard with these rules. The custodian could have been nicer about telling the boys to leave the gym when they weren't hurting anyone by shooting a couple baskets.
