A nonprofit arts and cultural center in Hendersonville, based at the historic Monthaven Mansion, offering 25+ one-week summer art and film camps for ages 6 to 16. Campers work in painting, clay, papier-mache, drawing, digital art, comics, and filmmaking across seven weeks in June and July. Half-day (9am-12pm or 1-4pm) and full-day (8am-5pm) options are available.

Don’t you miss out, this place is fantastic. Enjoyed the Salvador Dali’s Stairway To Heaven exhibit as well as some truly magical work from local artist, Lisa Jennings. I love the small homey nature of the building. It’s cozy and lends itself to quiet contemplation…nothing is rushed here. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel right at home.
