Montana Farmers Union has run agriculture-based youth summer camps since the 1930s at its Arrowpeak camp in the Highwood Mountains, plus scaled-down day camps in local communities. Overnight sessions are grouped by age (mini-junior ages 7–9, junior ages 8–11, and senior/teen ages 14–18) and mix ag education with nature hikes, roping, low-stress cattle handling, plant identification, arts and crafts, and a co-op camp store.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Montana Farmers Union directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Great cheap fast car insurance
Nice clean store. Greeted with a smile at counter. All in all a friendly place to get gas and drinks before road trip.
Great staff
My fiancé/wife reserved the Arrowpeak Lodge for the weekend of 7/26-7/28/2019 for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The director, Dave Snuggs made our weekend amazing! If we needed something, he had it. He even helped with our ceremony. The location in the Highwood mountains is amazing, but the service that Dave gives is what topped it off. Dave was very accommodating and answered many questions over the phone before our wedding weekend. Don’t hesitate to book your wedding, family reunion or camp retreat at the Arrowpeak. You won’t regret it! Thanks Dave for everything! Howard and Alyssa Cliver
