We recently visited the Pine Hill Community Center for the first time, meeting friends there for a walk. Although we'd had dinner in Pine Hill years ago, we'd never spent time in the town itself. The center's mission, clearly stated on a sign, is inspiring: "The Pine Hill Community Center's vision is to cultivate an open and engaged community in the Central Catskills. Our mission is to offer a place where people come to exchange and act on ideas that inspire involvement with each other and our surroundings.” It’s a wonderful, versatile space. While we were there, a steady stream of people stopped by to greet the staff or grab a cup of coffee. There is also a Thrift Store there. We felt genuinely welcome and are looking forward to returning for one of the many events they host.

The Hyzer Hillbillies were great! Really enjoyable show. Hope they return next season. Dana's Hot Diggity Dog was yummy. Has something for everyone. Lots of activities that are either free or low cost.

Lovely Community Center. We were there for a square dance. Fun event. They also had a thrift store and crafts by local craftsmen. Only criticism is that floor needs repair-could be a trip hazzard.
