The Marco Island Yacht Club Youth Sailing Club runs summer youth sailing classes for ages 4 to 17, structured by age: Sea Squirts (4-7) for young beginners, Beginner Opti (8-12), the 420 Program (13-17) for advanced technique, and a new Ocean Explorers marine-environment track (7-11). Classes teach on-the-water sailing skills and confidence in the waters off Marco Island.
