★★★AnonymousIt’s a fine place for kids to dance, but it’s quite overpriced. You have to pay to see your kid perform which doesn’t seem right since you’re paying for the class. Additionally, my daughter told me that at performances, they would occasionally hold Christian “prayer sessions.” Both her and I found that pretty odd for a studio that doesn’t claim to have religious affiliation outside of Steps of Praise and Dance Revolution. It’s fine for them to do that as long as thy state that they’re a Christian studio, which they have yet to do. Anyways, most of the teachers are kind and she enjoyed classes for the most part.

The studio is always so clean, teachers are engaged and professional, dances are age appropriate & fun. Communication is top notch and everything is always extremely timely regarding new sessions, recitals, or any news/changes. We love Misty’s.

Front desk, cleaning staff, office staff, teachers, helper teachers, and management all show love and care for each and every dancer! I also appreciate that they care what these girls are wearing and how they are dancing on stage. It will always be professional and up to high standards. I would definitely recommend Misty's to any parent looking for a very well run dance studio!

During the first awards at a recent dance competition one of the judges gave MDU an award for "everything" which he explained as the visible joy and passion that our dancers have when they perform/compete. It was such a true statement, there were many greater dancers and competitors but so many dances from other studios seemed like work, whereas our dancers shine with joy when they dance, their passion and love of dance along with their confidence in their craft is visible and sets MDU apart. I was still thinking about his comments a few days later and just wanted to take a moment to thank all the amazing MDU teachers and staff that make dance a truly joyful thing for our dancers and highly recommend Misty’s for anyone looking for a dance family!
