Mission Grit
Private
Mission Grit's Fort Mill location runs full-day summer day camps for children in grades K-8, built around indoor obstacle courses, team-building challenges and scenario-based quests. Camp hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., with drop-off 8-9 a.m. and pickup 3-4 p.m., and families can enroll for one week or several. Groups are kept small and the environment is non-competitive; the operator also runs no-school-day camps during the school year.
The practical details

Powered by GoogleWe had an absolutely wonderful experience with Mission Grit – School of Character in Fort Mill! We initially contacted Brad after Mission Grit was enthusiastically recommended to us by someone who had firsthand experience with the program. One of the things we loved most was the opportunity to host a private event exclusively for our team and their families. We chose Mission Grit for our son's end-of-season baseball celebration (my husband was one of the team's coaches), and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the very beginning, Brad was courteous, professional, and incredibly prompt with all communications. I had a special request to incorporate my own tablescape décor for the party portion of the event, and Brad went above and beyond by providing measurements, answering logistical questions, and helping ensure everything would come together seamlessly. During the event itself, Brad led our group through the various obstacles and team-building activities in a professional, organized, and engaging manner. The children were highly engaged throughout the entire interactive experience and had an absolute blast. It was such a unique way to celebrate the season while also reinforcing teamwork, perseverance, and character-building skills. When it was time for refreshments and awards, Brad and his assistant were so accommodating. They graciously helped distribute party refreshments and allowed us dedicated time to recognize each player with end-of-season awards and gifts, making the celebration feel truly special. The facility was exceptionally clean, and we greatly appreciated knowing that Brad and his team thoroughly sanitize between events. That extra attention to detail did not go unnoticed. If you're looking for a memorable birthday party, team celebration, or group event that is both fun and meaningful, I cannot recommend Mission Grit enough. Brad and his team provided an outstanding experience from start to finish, and we are so grateful for the memories they helped create for our team and families. ⚾️🧢❤️💕😊
All three of my boys love this place and look forward to going every week! Mission Grit is so creative in ways that keep our boys engaged, active and challenged! Highly recommend!
Mission Grit is an amazing program. Kids absolutely love it! The instruction is engaging, encouraging, and keeps kids motivated and excited to participate. What really stands out is how thoughtfully everything is designed. The setup changes every week and there are new themes each month, which keeps things fresh and interesting and not so repetitive. Kids have a lot of fun while also learning many practical skills and developing critical thinking. The activities challenge them in a positive way both physically and mentally, and help build confidence and problem-solving skills. The whole concept is fantastic. I highly recommend Mission Grit!
My son is obsessed with Mission Grit! We attend weekly classes, just hosted his birthday party there, and signed up for their camps. If you’re looking for a kids fitness program that builds confidence, strength, and discipline — this is it. It’s refreshing to find something that teaches courage, honor, and leadership outside of a traditional martial arts studio. The instructors — Paul, Brad, and Nik — are incredible with the kids. You can see their passion and intentionality in every class. With secret superpowers they somehow manage to get 10–20 kids to listen, focus, and execute complex obstacle missions like pros! Mission Grit’s obstacle courses are constantly changing, which keeps it exciting and challenging. They have some of the coolest features — zip lines, pyramids, pulleys, tire bridges, planks, and slides. It’s honestly so entertaining to watch, and you’ll usually see parents filming their kids as they conquer each course. As a healthcare provider, I especially appreciate how the program develops core strength, balance, coordination, and proper movement patterns. The instructors emphasize correct form and technique while still making it fun and engaging. Safety is clearly a priority, and they nudge the kids to try harder tasks. If you’re looking for something novel for kids camps, birthday parties, or classes, Mission Grit has it. They build both physical and mental toughness, while equipping kids with crucial skills they need in life.
Both my children have loved the weekly session at Mission Grit Indian Land. It's challenging in a way that's safe, demands attention, and pushes them to do things they've never done before. I'm thankful to have a remarkable program, that is thoughtful in the development of our youth, so close to home. We look forward to the diversified obstacles each week and can't wait to see what the summer camps have to offer.
