Miracles Baseball Academy is a Houston 501(c)(3) nonprofit directed by Mike Harris, a former professional player, coach and scout for the Cardinals and White Sox. It offers baseball and softball camps, clinics, private lessons, college showcases, public-speaking instruction and teams for ages 8U through 18U, taught by instructors with college or professional playing and coaching backgrounds. The academy partners with the Houston Astros, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Project 20/20 and area school districts, and reports helping place more than 300 student-athletes in colleges. I myself took lessons and played for the miracles and was blessed to be a part of this organization. They Taught me the proper mechanics for every position and made me into an all-state all star . My cousin Seth Romero also played with them and was a first rd pick for the Nationals.

Now he's the 3-hole hitter on both his elite tournament team ( .540 batting average this season) and high school prep team, plus pitched a no hitter and one hitter his last two times on the mound. The results speak for themselves. They've also taught him proper mechanics to avoid injury, how to take care of his joints/muscles (particularly through rapid growth spurts), taught him how to eat healthy for maximum performance, not to mention how to keep the opponent from winning the mental game. MBA also has a strong track record with helping high school players get athletic scholarships, which I consider a bonus.
