Great gym for the whole family! The equipment is always in excellent condition, and there’s a wide variety of classes to choose from. Having access to both a sauna and steam room in the locker rooms is a huge bonus—especially during the winter months. We really appreciate the childcare option for our daughter, which allows us to work out uninterrupted, and the playroom staff is consistently friendly and attentive. For the range of amenities included, the pricing is very compelling, and we honestly couldn’t find a better option than the JCC Capp Center. If you live in Mac-Groveland, Highland Park, or the surrounding St. Paul area, I highly recommend it.

I joined this gym 9 months ago and have no regrets. The facility is very clean, the fitness center has a large variety of workout equipmen with big windows and natural light. I never have to wait long if the equipment I want is in use (which doesn't have that often and would only be on one machine of my whole weight routine). The locker rooms, sauna, and steam room are well kept!

I canceled my membership and made it clear I didn’t want to be charged again. Despite that, the JCC charged me in June and claimed it was for May. When I pointed out that the charge didn’t even happen in May like they said, suddenly nobody wanted to take responsibility. Nate and Jocelyn both said they’d call me back — they never did. Just ghosted me. When I finally spoke with Jessica, the membership manager, she was rude and dismissive. Told me I was “not in the right”… and then issued a refund anyway. So if I was wrong, why give the money back? This is not how a community center should treat people. Don’t gaslight members, dodge accountability, and quietly refund to cover your tracks. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. I wouldn’t trust this place with a recurring payment again if my life depended on it.

So today I only went here to simply ask if I can use the restroom as I am a bus driver and this was the closest place I could go. I have used the restroom here in the past with no issue. But today was asked to give them my I.D which the guy in the front scanned for some reason. This has never happened and it’s ridiculous that I need to give my I.D just to use the restroom.
