The Mike Simpson Miracle League Field is the home field of the Miracle League of Frisco, a nonprofit adaptive-sports organization for children with special needs of all disability levels, ages 5 through 22, drawn from across North Texas. The field sits inside Harold Bacchus Community Park and is surfaced in cushioned synthetic turf so wheelchairs and walkers can move safely across it. The league has run seasons since opening day in April 2006 and now offers baseball, soccer, basketball, football, bowling and track rather than a summer camp.
