We love the YMCA. Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Mika, who not only answered my questions but went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood everything. And to top it off, yesterday Miss Sandy (our sw instructor from last year, remembered my son Wyatt when we saw her at the pool) and went out of her way to make sure Wyatt had the proper life jacket and even helped us get him registered for his next class. Fingers crossed we get off the waitlist.

Best decision for my family! My husband and I love going together, so the kids club is a blessing! Our son begs to go to the Y to hang in kids club. All of the staff have been amazing and even greet him by name now! All of the classes are amazing and everything is clean. We love you, Middletown Y!

Really disappointed with the childcare. This was our first week. I dropped my child off while I worked out. I usually stay about an hour, but yesterday I decided to do a shorter workout. When I came back, I was told my child had been crying the whole time. What really bothered me is that no one called me or came to get me. I had no idea anything was wrong until I showed up. When I asked what happened, nobody could give me an answer. No one saw anything, no one knew why he was crying. That’s extremely concerning. how are caretakers not aware of what’s going on? He cried the entire car ride home. I tried bringing him back the next day, and he immediately started crying again and did not want to be left there. Whatever happened the day before clearly affected him. Now I’m left wondering, was it another child or one of the adults? Not having any answers as a parent is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. Seeing my child scared and upset was enough for me to cancel our membership. My child is my priority, and I don’t trust their childcare after this. Definitely a very bad childcare experience.

Marissa Hill, the membership experience specialist, very kindly allowed me and another teacher to sort shoes for an educational fundraiser at the YMCA. They were flexible and responsive on short notice and provided us with a room and needed supplies -- and the staff even pitched in and lent a helping hand in carrying items! They were so kind and supportive. Very community-oriented! Thank you!

Oh yes, the YMCA in Middletown, Delaware you guys don’t have good Pokémon for Pokémon GO. OK the YMCA in Dover has a ton. I do not think this is a very good business choice as I love playing Pokémon GO and yeah.
