I’ve gone to this camp for years. This camp is everything a camp should be. We play a bunch of fun games all the time with friends. We played flag football and kiss and tackle. Both of those games had so many memories. I read Will Bushes Review and honestly from everything I’ve experienced it’s wrong. Kiss and tackle is nothing but fun. No one is forced to play. Simply just a good fun time. Flag football is also super fun. The lunch is mid but what do you expect? A 5 star meal? This camp has helped me as a Christian way more than people know. Everyone is nice here and there is always a counselor there if you need anything. They go out of their way to help campers. The memories I made at this camp I will never forget. I have made life long friends. I would recommend this camp to everyone.

Best years of my life spent here. If you want to spend a week surrounded by nothing but the love of Jesus Christ, and have a ton of fun, I'd recommend it.

Absolutely horrible experience and I can't recommend you stay away strongly enough. I grew up going to summer camps. My child has been to various camps. We've had good and not good experiences. This one is 100x worse than all bad experiences over our two generations combined. - "game" called kiss and tackle where they try to make kids kiss each other - making kids hop around and sing about getting married - 17 year old and 10 year old campers in the same cabin - food worse than prison. Only serving pre packaged PBJ or lunch meat for lunch. Camp food doesn't win awards, the food here would hardly be fit to serve victims of a natural disaster. - my child got a double ear infection, couldn't sleep or eat, the counselor didn't listen to the nurse about how to help. No one called. When my child asked to call home they were denied. - rampant bullying - virtually no gospel preaching - the junior counselor cornered my 10 year old alone, raised his belt, and threatened to hit him with it. That's child abuse. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I've gone for many years and it is honestly my favorite place in the world. Mid-South is a great way to disconnect from the real world and grow closer to God and your brothers and sisters in Christ. I don't think I would be the same person today had it not been for the lovely people and amazing experience that MSYC provided me.
