Verbal instruction is definitely present and helpful; my only constructive feedback is that adding more staff modeling during group activities would make it even stronger. Verbal instruction plus a clear model plus feedback to the learner is the most effective combination—kids love seeing it demonstrated, and it gives them a strong visual of how the skill should look before they attempt it themselves. Let’s make the coaches more active participants! Overall, a very positive experience in a welcoming environment for kids.
