I walked the 9 hole golf course River Trace that is a part of the Meade Activity Center. Ri er Trace is to me a course that facilitates walking. Distance between greens and the next tee box make walking doable. I am old enough to use the forward tees for male golphers. It is a challenge walking as the course is up and down hills. For younger players if it is your first time be cautious with your speed so that you are fatigued for the last holes.

I absolutely love Ann. She has been so kind, whether she was assisting me in the gym, or at the pool. All employees here are patient & kind, but she is definitely one of a kind! She definitely loves her job & it shows.

The place is honestly nothing special. You have to pick a random time and pray no one is there to actually use the machines if not you have to wait and wait. My main complaint is billing. We had it set up to automatically withdrawal from our account and one month A YEAR AGO it didn’t take it out. We never got a notice/email. Never got a call. Never got a letter! Nothing! They added late fees of course. We went to close our account and we owed back fees. The old lady that deals with the accounts was rude and not helpful. She just kept saying we sent an email, we sent an email…... She might have but we never got it, it could have went to junk mail. But it never stopped them from charging us every month after that. Never double billed us to catch us up or nothing. Just a warning bc apparently they don’t do curtesy calls to let you know anything. Just rude and snooty people with Bare minimum equipment.

The MAC is a decent place to get a workout in and family gym memberships are decently priced. Some of the equipment is starting to get a bit dated though and the treadmills aren’t in good enough condition to actually run on. Overall it’s a good place to take the family and you can add golf course and pool access for a reasonable amount more.
