The MDI Community Sailing Center is a Southwest Harbor nonprofit offering a nine-week Summer Junior Sailing Camp for children ages 6 and up on Mount Desert Island. Beginners learn boat parts, rowing, rigging, and knots on a fleet of more than 40 boats, taught by US Sailing-certified instructors, with scholarships available.
