My name is Steven Arthur Dalley I moved to the Onalaska WA area in 1965 I was six years old My parents were Rev Arthur Dalley and Betty Dalley They are now both with the Lord Mayfield Lake Youth Camp may have been established in 1962 However there was no real Christian activity going on from what I was told My parents both were saved at Bible camps while they were in junior high ages They were in full time Christian ministry and service all their lives I vaguely remember the first REAL Christian Bible camp at Mayfield I think there were only about 12 attendees and they were from our church area in Shoe String Valley That was in 1965 This is not about bragging rights or who did what It's all about how God used two individuals to really reach out and give and support a Christian camping program Because God led my parents to really get this Bible camp program off the ground, look at ALL the lives that have been changed When we moved about 5 years later, there were Christian camp programs most or all summer long I feel that in the 12 years that they served with VILLAGE MISSIONS This was the highlight of their lives and service for the Lord I shared this story at their 50th wedding anniversary many years ago as well as at his funeral 9 years ago and again at her funeral 2 months ago We can throw a smooth rock into a calm lake and watch the ripples move across the surface Only in eternity will we see the lives that have been touched Jesus said A grain of wheat must die to produce an abundant yield I heard about 10 years ago from a friend in WA state and asked him about the camp and if it was still active He said it was all summer long God Bless All of You as You continue to do Christian ministry and service for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Some Plant Some Water God gives the increase

The nature is beautiful, there is a lot of space for walking, fresh air. It would be nice to renovate the houses because they look like ghost houses.

I have not been here while a camp was in session, but I have done some volunteer work here. That being said, John and Heidi, the facility managers, are a couple of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet in your life, and they do a darn good job keeping the place up! They are very friendly and welcoming, and the each have a very good knowledge of the requirements of running and taking care of a facility such as this. A picturesque setting along the southern shore of Lake Mayfield, this is definitely a place you will not want to leave. 80 acres of pure country-side serenity, you can hear the breeze blowing through the trees off in the distance. Bottom line, whether you are looking for a summer camp to enroll your kid in, or a worthy cause to donate your time and/or money to, this place is IT!

Best Youth Camp Around! I have been a camp director for 7 years, during that time we've used 3 different campgrounds. This one is by far the best. One campground manager yelled at the kids (for playing with sports equipt. next to a bin the managers put out), another campground was too small, we had campers on the floor. We have around 100 kids plus staff each year. The kids love it. Never have a complaint from kids or staff. The camp managers are the best, some years we don't see them at all, some years they join us for campfire games and dinner. John is a great sport with "soft and creamy"! Best camp managers around. The facilities continually improve each year, the upgrades are very appreciated. Even though its "camping", they have a lot of amenities, updated cabins with electricity; the 200' water slide and gaga pit are huge hits. Highly recommend this campground. Competitively priced.

Great little camp that needs upgrades. Fun 300ft. waterslide, swimming area, canoeing, basketball courts, etc. Cabins need to be cleaned better before guests arrive and lack the electrical outlets needed for using fans on scorching days, recharging phones, using blow dryers, etc; the chapel and kitchen NEED air conditioning for the hot days of summer (they are like a sauna in there)!!!! It's a good thing our group invites amazing preachers and staff that make attending for a week there worth the uncomforts in the buildings.
